Xin Feng Arts&Crafts Textile co., Ltd. was established in 1996
as a private-owned limited company. In 2002, the total area and
construction area covered by the company increased to 2000 m2 and
5600 m2 separately with its stock assets amounting to as high as
6.5 million RMB Yuan, one third of the total stock assets in the
town. The average yearly production value is 8 million RMB Yuan,
one third of the town¡¯s total. The company realizes an average yearly
tax value of 0.23 million RMB, two thirds of the town¡¯s total in
the same industry. At the initial stage, none of the products was
exported. However, in recent years, the export value has climbed
to over 0.5 million USD, three-fourths of the town¡¯s total in the
same industry. At present, the number of employees which accounts
for one fourth of the town¡¯s total in the same industry, is over
360, of which over 240 were laid-off ex-employees of Dalian Songshu
Silk Factory and Dalian Lamp & Lantern Factory. In 2000, the
company becomes a general taxpayer and in 2002, it was granted the
right to export, the sole and only one in Songshu County. At present,
Xin Feng company has established itself as one of the domestic lace
market leaders in terms of domestic and overseas market share and
market recognition etc.
